About Us

Ben Martin, founder of Branch Creek Construction, is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor who has been building environmentally friendly, energy efficient, innovative quality projects in the Asheville, NC area since 2003.

Ben is personally involved with each project from start to finish. This means he is on the job site, tool belt on, actually working. In addition, he collaborates with other top-level craftsmen who he hires based on their specialty and the specific needs of each project. This model allows for the highest level of quality control.

Ben grew up surrounded by and helping master craftsmen who knew and practiced environmentally sound building techniques. Starting at age six, when he was actively involved doing what he could helping build his family’s energy efficient, passive solar house.

Experiencing firsthand the benefits of living in a quality constructed, environmentally friendly and energy efficient house provided the foundation for Ben’s unrelenting insistence on doing every job that way every time.

By using the latest in technology & house energy science, Branch Creek Construction is committed to bringing tradition, quality and innovation to all of their projects from modest renovations to complex new construction.
